Description
Rodrigo’s history in the area has been vital to the success of Forjas del Salnés. He was able to find and secure the use of ancient plantations, some of which were long-abandoned, and bring them back to life.The idea with the Bodegas Viñedos Rodrigo Méndez project was for Rodrigo to make wines that focus on the village of Meaño where Rodrigo was born, in the heart of Salnés valley of Rías Baixas.
Vinification: 100% Albarino is harvested by hand and fermented using indigenous yeast. The wine is aged on the lees for 12months in 4 year old foudres before bottling.
