VDF "A L`Aube" (Sweet) 2009

A true one of a kind wine from Jura, filled with aromas of toasted nuts and exotic fruits!

Evelyne and Pascal began growing vines in 1991, on a small plot of rented land. Back then they both had day jobs but they have worked together on a full-time basis since 2000. Today, they have seven hectares – and don’t intend to grow any further. It’s no surprise, when you consider all of this effort, that Domaine De La Tournelle has an international reputation for making great wine.

Vinification: 100% Savagnin is hand harvested and allowed to dry on clay mats (passerillage). Fermentation took place in barrel with indigenous yeast and due to the concentration of sugar it lasted 12 for years before it came to a natural stop. Bottled unfined, unfiltered and with no added SO2.
