Savoie "Prieuré St Christophe" (Red) 2020

Terroir: The vineyard is located near Arbin and Freterive on the “La Combe de Savoie” slopes in the Bauges Mountains national park. The soil there is made of limestone, with alluvial, limon and clay.

Age of Vines: 35 years old

Vinification: The Grapes are handpicked. Whole bunch maceration for 3 weeks. The first winter following the harvest, the wine stays in vats. Then the wine is racked into old barrels for at least 12 months. No fining, no filtration.
