This off-dry Chenin Blanc from a single parcel of old vines showcases the perfect balance of natural sweetness and acidity. Rich and elegant yet still vibrant and fresh. Dried apricot, orange, honeysuckle and nuts atop ripe citrus. Vibrant acidity and a strong structure that gives a full mouthfeel and a lingering finish. Serve at 10-12°C. Residual sugar: 20-25 g/L.

Damien and Coralie Delecheneau, the winemaking team behind La Grange Tiphaine, have played a pivotal role in the revival of quality wines from the Touraine. This is one of the wines that has helped remake the image of sweet and off-dry Chenin from the region and is named after one of the oldest parcels in Montlouis. The sweetness and acidity balance of this versatile cuvée is proof that these kind of wines belong on every dinner table.

Vinification: Chenin from 80-year-old vines on sand and clay. Some vines are up to 120 years old, with very small grapes that yield very little, but very concentrated juice. Grapes are hand harvested later in the season to achieve a higher sugar concentration, usually in several passages to assure perfect ripeness of each bunch. Fermentation and ageing in old oak barrels.

Match it with: Seafood, white meats, cheeses, mildly-sweet desserts.
