Anjou "Les 3 Poiriers" (White) 2022

Ripe white fruits, lemony notes & a saline feel...

This cuvée comes from the 2nd sort of golden grapes selected at the end of September from the 4 hectares of the estate. The grapes are harvested with good maturity which produces beautifully dry chenins. The sandstone terroir brings a density to the wine whilst preserving tension. The pressing is gentle and slow, and the juices are drained entirely by gravity into barrels without settling or pumping. The barrels are saturated with carbon dioxide before filling so as not to weaken the juices in the air.
